Public Online Bidding

Public individuals are welcome to bid at Manheim Indy’s bi-weekly Heavy Truck sale. As of May 1, 2022, bidding can only be done in person, as online bidding for public buyers is no longer available.

In-person bidders must call or email Manheim’s truck department before the sale in order to register and obtain a bidder badge, or arrive extra early on the day of the sale in order to do so. Please note that a $5,000 refundable deposit is required in order to access the lanes and bid on equipment.

Public Bidder Requirements:

  • Fill out the registration packet via email ahead of the sale, or in person the day of the sale. 
  • Online bidding is no longer allowed for public buyers. In-lane only.
  • Pay a $5,000 deposit.
  • Deposit must be paid in cashier’s check or money order. Cash or credit/debit cards are not allowed—no exceptions.
  • Deposits are fully refundable at the conclusion of the sale and following the payment of any units won (if applicable).
